不必須學習過希伯來文初階，但至少要修過舊約導論或舊導 I 或舊導 II。
評量方式: 1. 教科書閱讀（期末報告裡註明完成百分之多少，15%）
2. 課堂的出席（3%）、課堂上的預備、參與與討論（10%）。每次上課前要將 討論的詩篇先自行翻譯（比較三種譯本），並排列成詩句形式，包含縮排。
3. 期中後課堂上報告（課堂上會說明，要另附一頁的參考書目 ）：將期末報告 所選擇的詩篇經文先作成一頁 1) 詳細的講章大綱（可以含部分經文翻譯的 形式呈現於第二頁），或是 2) 設計成一頁問題式的主日學教材。輪流在課堂 分享，一個人 10-12 分鐘（12%），此項作業附在期末報告後一起繳交。

課程目標: 「我心中喜樂，我要用詩歌稱謝耶和華！」詩篇保⬀著以色列民族團體在歷史
中的敬拜生活、風俗與詩人個人心靈世界的呈現，也是舊約聖經中詩歌智慧文
學代表的主要部分。本課程的目標有四：
一、對希伯來文詩歌智慧文學的特色有初步的認識，學習分辨舊約經文中散文 體與詩歌體的區別。
二、透過對詩篇的研讀、解釋和欣賞，瞭解詩篇的性質，認識與學習辨別它們 各種不同的形式、類型。
三、嘗試去了解詩人的心靈世界，及他們與神的溝通所帶出的信息，並學習應 用詩篇的信息與功能：包括如何將詩篇組織做成講章、如何實踐與應用在 個人或團體的敬拜生活當中。
四、本課程設計除了作詩篇釋義外，也嘗試讓學生討論該詩篇在歷史上的詮釋 與當代的應用。
