1)開學兩週介紹方法論並觀賞兩部電影，討論不同的聖經解釋如何影響人判斷時事。
2)第一部分介紹近年來幾種常用的聖經釋義進路，尤其以文學分析方法為重點。
3)第二部分以幾段舊約與新約經文為實例，做實際的經文分析與練習，讓同學們能熟悉這些釋義方法的 運用及了解其限制。
4)最後，鼓勵同學們嘗試運用不同的釋義方法，以「整合性」的方法來瞭解經文的意義。
5)本學期的釋義經文將選擇禮拜學經文，讓同學完成期中及期末經文釋義報告。
